Quicken Loans
Quicken Loans is one of the top online mortgage sites in the United States.
I was originally hired on to build the teller system for an online bank that interfaced with an Oracle back-end. Once the bank project was complete I moved on to head up their search efforts and successfuly guided their rankings into the top 10 for a number of important keyowords across all relevant search engines. As back-end Tech Lead I was responsible for the development of a number of sites, primarily quckenloans.com, rockfinancial.com, and mortgageinsiders.com. I architected and built out many internal tools with complex workflows to increase the reaction times of the many stakeholders and automate the publishing of content out to the live site. I introduced site search via an appliance as well as emerging technologies such as RSS feeds for their news section.
