Take The Pledge FB App
Inspired by the Girls on the Run charity, Sports Authority created a campaign to help raise awareness amongst their sizable Facebook audience, and donate to the worthy charity in the process. We worked with their agency, Team Detroit, to help create this Facebook experience that has proven to be a hit with their passionate social fans. The visitor is able to record a 30 second video pledge, or enter one via keyboard, and for every pledge made Sports Authority donates $5 to the Girls on the Run charity. The videos and pledges are instantly available in the gallery but can be later moderated by an administrator via a CMS interface. The interactive gallery has full media playback and Facebook comments enabled, boasting high engagement. The app also features a shop section to promote the exclusive active wear line from New Balance.
